I've never had cold vegetable soup.

I did have the soup from a vending machine recently as I was 5p short for coffee.. Tasted like warm man milk. Horrible. A gloopy, salty mess with croutons. I usually get paid to taste these flavours not the other way around.

GAME and refunds. Whole issue going on 3 weeks over a simple refund for a game. Store staff and customer services each telling a different story and resulting in me down ?40 which I really can't afford to be. Strongly worded letter going off on Monday morning and Citizens Advice being contacted.

Did you regale the laydeez with tales of sediment in real ale?

My company have a fight every year at our Christmas parties so this year it was just called off.
Instead just my office went out together to one of the nicest all-you-can-eat Pan-Asian buffets. Awesome.

I like Takeshi's Castle too, but got a bit addicted to Unbeatable Banzuki when it was on Channel One recently.

What do you think would be a better Stag Night?
Go-Karting with paintballs in a strib club or
You and your mates on Takeshi's Castle.
Takeshi's Castle, obviously. I could do the other crap any time.

But playing wipeout, knock knock, bridge ball, high rollers and skipping stones is a once in a lifetime.

Besides, the final game in Takeshi's Castle covers karting and paint-squirting anyway. It would only take the Emerald Guard to fight nude and we'd have the full set.

Like I'm going to openly discuss how you can help support piracy! Muppet!
This happens to me at least once a fortnight and I only work on weekends.

Retail gripe: seasonal shoppers at this time of year ("do you have that Nintendo Why?") that gleefully profess to not know anything about games while shopping for Christmas presents. I don't understand why somebody would take such pride in being almost deliberately ignorant about something.

Kernow's Christmas buying thread reminded me actually - getting Toblerone as a gift. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but the stuff is impossible to eat without either a) injuring yourself (especially if some kind person has put it in the fridge for you, effectively turning it into chocolate-coated glass shards), or b) making an outright mess when you try and break it up.

I can only assume it's some sort of punishment, particularly if you get one of those giant-sized bars. Do they even sell any of the stuff during the rest of the year?
