Little things that irk you.. (no swearing please)

My current irk-my absolutely bonkers neighbour. Either screaming, crying, swearing or various unidentifiable sounds at random times. I have no idea what the hell is going on.

I have some kind of curse when it comes to neighbours.

I've especially bad neighbours.

The mother in particular swears and screams at her kids (a few weeks ago a particularly loud rant had her calling one of her sons an "evil so and so" (she pretty much explored every likely replacement word for that).

One of the older sons had a loud, sweary crying (probably drunk) rant too.

A minor blessing in that they keep themselves to themselves and don't bother us (I get the impression we're not too popular with our neighbours because we're pretty private, don't have kids and don't get involved 'in the community')

I have some horror stories about older neighbours that I will avoid mentioning, for my own blood pressure.

I agree with you on one point especially, these current ones don't bother me really, in that they keep to themselves. I wonder what the hell is wrong with them, though.

I have another neighbour who used to swear at her very young kids all the time (not just your usual swear words either-very inventive), it got to the point where I told her to stop it. I don't like having to get involved but I just felt really sorry for the kids.

ikobo-I understand your frustration, I hate going shopping on a weekend due to the irritating kids these days.

I sometimes wonder if I was that bad as a kid, but then I come to my senses and realise I wasn't anywhere near as bad.

And at songs on CDs that have 10 minutes of silence before a "bonus" track. This screws up shuffle when I've copied CDs to the iPod as I'm walking along listening to... nothing. So I have to fumble around in my pocket and skip the track. Guerilla is probably the worst album for this. 10 minutes of silence and there's not even owt good at the end of it.
