Idiots. Tell them it's best to try and be as succinct as possible, and that's why you're using words that maybe they don't understand. The onus is on them to learn the meanings of words in the English language, not on you to dumb down your speech to a child's level for their benefit.

I'd like to add mine to this. Went to look at some shoes on a webpage yesterday. 1 pair was down from ?70 to ?20. I was very tempted, but decided how I felt about buying them later in the day. Went back later to buy. they were still there in my size, & still listed as ?20, so I knew it was meant to be.
