This is a shameful thing to admit, but the first time I was ever forced to do washing up (with nobody else to do it), my procrastination combined with the fear of actually doing it, meant I let it stack up to crazy amounts. By the end I was drinking tea out of glasses, and even threw some plates away as I didn't like the look of them after leaving them for ages. I am ashamed, I know...

I was given a fridge that belonged to the landlord's recently deceased grandmother. That in itself is awesome but the fridge had been switched off for at least a few months despite having all sorts of stains in there that had start to go all sorts of wrong(the smell of the spilt milk stuck with me for a long time). Cleaning that thing was the worst few hours of my life.

Anybody else see the video of the little chinese kid getting run over twice? Properly sick how people walked past and didn't bother stopping when a 2 year old is bleeding on the floor
              Truly shocking.

That's the most disturbing thing I've ever seen. Truly awful.

I heard brielfy about it but didn't realise what actually happened.

According to the beeb, the little girl has now died. Terrible series of events

Absolutely horrific. My instincts told me not to watch the video, really wish that I didn't.

Thankfully I went with my instincts. Just seeing the still image of that small figure standing alone on the street was enough to put me off pressing the play button. What an awful story though. How on earth can eighteen people just walk past the battered body of a tiny child? Mind boggling

Wow that is so utterly tragic.

Apparently in China there's been issues with people intervening after accidents and then being blamed for the persons injuries / death etc.

Still doesn't make it right tho.

BT... I will never use them ever again for anything.

An account over 5 years ago was set up in my name by an old landlord after I had moved out. I provided rent proof, and letter from my landlord and verified every way I could I was not responsible for the debt and they say it's not enough.

How can I prove something I never had?! They even stated originally they had direct debit details and recordings of the call when the account was set up they can investigate to prove whether I set it up or was paying the bills myself. They won't even acknowledge this now and basically are saying it's my responsibility to prove it.

It's getting me really despressed and stressed out and I simply can't deal with it any more as there's nothing I can do.

This sounds like a time when consumer affairs or a similar body gets involved. You need to see who's out there who could help. I went through a similar thing years ago except it was an account I had set up and later cancelled. For some reason, a little bit after they cancelled it, the direct debits started again and they took out a fortune before I realised. They then told me I never cancelled. It went on for months and sucked the life out of me. I was getting nowhere. I eventually contacted local citizens advice and cc'd the company on all communications with them. They then made me an offer to settle it. Not the full amount they owed me but I took it because I was so done with the whole thing by then.

So they kind of won. Not exactly the inspiring story I was hoping for when I began typing! Point is, I guess, that once I took it beyond them, they took notice. I probably could have got the full amount back if I had any fight left by that point. So I'd say get consumer affairs involved and cc BT on every communication so they know it's a process, not an empty threat. If that doesn't work, start cc'ing radio stations.

Write a letter of complaint to BT.
If they don't back off then go here:
