paying for grot is so last century, how much of it do you need anyway, not like a 3h Lord of the Rings director cut is necessary is it ?

entirely unrelated to above, the smell of frying bacon is pretty good.

Cheap is always good........... but free is better..........

But nothings ever free if you think about it, you always pay for it in some way of form............

The smell of frying bacon (and the taste too!) is possibly the main reason I could never go veggie. Smelling it and not eating it would drive me nuts- you must have strong willpower.

I like the smell of creosote.

                Life affiriming things;

                It's a broad spectrum ...

From the obvious stuff like the hugs I get from my wife and sons when I get home from work ...

                ... to watching Groundhog Day

Was it you that knocked him of mate lol

As above, music is the most powerful thing in the world, there's nothing that comes close apart from that amazing picture PSTB posted... just looking at something like that removes every emotion and replaces it with complete awe.

                            Lots of things.

Listening to great music and also, being a performer, the feeling you get from the stage in seeing people reacting positively to something you wrote yourself in the comfort of your own bedroom. It's a good feeling realising that something you created has touched others.

A good book that absorbs your very being and sucks you into its world.

Being nicely tucked up in bed on a cold or rainy night; the snugness and satisfaction you feel in not being out there.

Sleeping in general. Sleeping and dreaming.

Meditating. Learning new things about myself by looking deep within. That sense of peace and calm.

The sound of SID music. I absolutely LOVE the stuff.

Wearing nothing but a t-shirt at night in the height of summer and knowing you won't be cold.

A nice beer at the end of a difficult day at work. Especially with friends to rant at/unwind with.

Women, and the way their scent (perfume etc) seems to just stick to you, your clothes, bedsheets and anything of yours they touch. And how it can remind you of them when they are not there...

That feeling you get when a tune you've been working on finally comes together.

Waking up on a work day and knowing I don't have to go in for whatever reason (especially if its weather related).

Sick day gaming. The silver lining in the cloud of illness.

The feeling you get when you finally beat a tough boss.

Also have a big softspot for kids and their boundless energy, the way every new, little thing is exciting, fun and full of life to them. A good reminder that I once saw the world in such a way, and that the inner child within is still alive and well.

                              Cuddling that someone special
                              The smell of seaweed
Watching snow fall sliently at night
Walking through fallen leaves in the autumn
Turning the pillow over to the cold side
My children falling asleep on me
