Those shooters are awesome on the iPad. The touch controls are very responsive.

As above, I used mine for mainly web browsing as it was more convenient than the laptop.

Which model do you have? If you are interested in selling, please let me know as I sold mine before moving to japan and would like one again

Can anyone recommend a really simple budgeting app for keeping track of purchases etc? There seems to be thousands and most look like they're trying to outdo the others on features but I'm just looking for simplicity. Any ideas?

Just the original 16GB wifi. These things aren't even worth selling for the money you'd lose. I guess it'll just be a fancy touch remote for airtunes or something.

are you sure? It's not easy to tell. If you turn it on while plugged in it'll say "not charging" because it takes too much power to use and charge, but once it goes into standby it should start charging.

Ah! You are right, Psyduck. Thanks for that.

They draw a lot of power, that's why they're bundled with a 10W power supply. That's by far the fastest way of charging it, too.

I use 'account tracker' on my pad and iPhone very good. It's as complex or as simple as you want it to be, simple in my case cos I'm thick.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that one. Much appreciated.

Just to throw another name into the hat: I've been using 'iCompta' on my iPhone and iPad for ages and I find it excellent. There's also a desktop version for the Mac and you can sync between the mobile and desktop version.

Just got an ipad2. Really enjoying it, but can't understand why tapatalk won't show NTSC-uk

Yeah it sucks, seems like charles hasn't enabled iPad compatibility for it in Tapatalk for some reason.

For those looking for useful iPad apps, I can recommend AV Player HD, plays pretty much every video/audio format with full support for selection of audio and subtitle track like VLC. On the iPad 2 mkv Bluray rips are awesome, been using it tons to output them to the TV using the HDMI adapter.

Came to this thread looking for a reason why I can't find NTSC-UK on iPad tapatalk. Didn't realise there'd be a difference to available forums on different devices .

Since we're on App recommendations, I've been pleasantly surprised by Flipboard. Pretty unique way to consume rss and social network feeds for an iPad newbie like me.

flipboard is great, so is Zite - another similar personal magazine type app
