So the minicab driver pulls a shooter on the cops , and his family wonder why the cops shot him, and his family thinking its ok for Mr Duggan to own a gunand be breezing around London with a gun, thats the eal crime there , and parts of society bigging up criminal behaviour.

I can't believe how some of the looters don't bother to hide their faces, how confident are they? The law will catch up to most of them eventually even if it does take a bit of time.

This rumour seems to be attributable to Nick Griffin. I can't believe that you believe it for a second, even if you don't know where it came from. Is it just a case of refusing to accept that proud upstanding young English kids would ever do something like this so if there's any trouble at all it must be all them dirty immigrants innit?

I don't know who Nick Griffin is, I'm not English. I was wondering if this was a similar case to the riots in Paris a few years ago, as I understand (correct me if I'm wrong) Tottenham is populated by minorities?

Complete thread de-rail, but it's a bit of a shame that multiculturalism actually means, in the real world, miniature countries within cities. Hardly integration, is it?

That's only true to an extent and it depends which country you're in. Also, the situation in Paris was a bit different- the whole issue of immigration in France is quite to different to the UK. When I was living there, all the ethnic minorities (read: North Africans) were kept away from the nice part of town in ****ty tower blocks, literally on the other side of the railway tracks. All buses etc. stopped going anywhere near that area early too.

I completely agree; I'm half of a white couple living in Tokyo, in a very 'local' type area.

These opportunists, no matter what their 'heritage' are a disgrace.
