Bad parenting is far worse. But even the best parents cannot control access to what their kids experience everywhere or indeed what the kids around them have access to. So a discussion on better parenting does not invalidate every other discussion.

The "birds and the bees" discussion is going to be very different for us lot.

When we were kids, all we had access to was Page 3, Sunday Sport and the occasional grumble mag like Fiesta, Escort or other ones named after Ford vehicles.

These days, with access to the internet, I'm pretty sure kids (boys especially) are going to have a skewed view of sex:

Absolutely QC but we are aware of how much it has changed so we need to adapt. So many just bury their head in the sand regarding sex and technology.

So many times I want to get somewhere at the weekend only to get stuck behind the slowest driver on the planet who doesn't have a clue what "national speed limit" means.

I mean, I got docked a point on my driving test for driving 30 when I should have been driving 40 - so there are rules regarding this stuff, surely!
