For as long as I can remember, I've obsessively checked the L and R on headphones before putting them on, even if they are symetrical shapes. It occurred to me today that unless I'm watching a film / game, it really doesn't matter for music.

Hmmm... I don't know. Maybe. I do the same. L is L and R is R. I guess at least we're making sure that we're listening to it the way it was meant to be listened to. Although flipping them gives us the backstage experience.
