Why when you configure buttons do they not act like the button would in every menu? In game the button will act like it should but in menus, game over screens etc you have to resort back to the original button. Argh!

Doesn't like every game in the world use the same buttons in menus? Why would you need to change them?

Best example I can give is during cut scenes in arcade games (gigawing on dreamcast for example) or during the game over timer (on certain games) you have to revert back to the standard button to skip through them faster. If I change the button config,the newly assigned button should complete all functions.
