My god you are savages in Canadaif you can't taste more butter than scone then something is wrong. I think i may be the super minority on that one hehe
(I generally don't have butter in the house actually, I switched to olive oil a few years back. But I would get butter purely to make scones with.)
That's it, it's

I love the right hand-left side of sunglasses removal. Classic move.
Right, well I'm looking at this receipe here:
Scones are the easiest British teatime treat and chances are that you will have all the ingredients for this easy scone recipe already.
Will probably be following that. Any other receipes people might suggest?
I'm not going to be able to bust out some cooking moves until I get back from school in a few hours, so I'll post results then.
Happy baking!

lordy, how could anyone even consider cream first? The jam would not spread properly on top. You need a nice lay of jam, not just a lump in the middle.
That Red Lobster place that gives a basket of scones.... They must be really confused when they come to the UK and find an expensive "Cream Tea" is essentially their free stuff.

I usually buy fruit scones and consume them with copious amounts of butter, but despite normally living in Devon, I agree with the Cornish method when it comes to jam and cream.
Also, it's definitely "scon" (definitive proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0JkUkAq0Rc ) I can't help but think that anyone who says "scown" has been influenced by American TV.
