Still a nice moon tonight so why not

It's not as detailed as EvilBoris's shot as I only have a 140mm zoom. Nice colour though.

And a load of pictures taken with my Xperia ZL2's camera.

    Beautiful view

    Not so beautiful view

If this was anywhere else in the world my car would be an empty shell!

Nice, look forward to seeing what you got.

I haven't been taking much stuff recently, I'm using the fact it's dark in the evening as an excuse. I did get a new camera bag.

And I took this this week. So, yeah.

Couple from the Iphone5, it was interesting having my iphone and 7d and changing the way i shot with each device, trying to get the best out of them, there were certainly times when a smaller more discrete device had a big advantage.

Really nice portraits and pics. What camera do you use and what process do you go through in order to make the brightness, contrast and in general clarity of the pictures blend in so nice together?

                    Thanks
I use a Canon 6D, which in all honesty which probably doesn't have any bearings on how these particular photos came out.
I use Adobe Lightroom to process the photos, on some photos I might use a gradient adjustment filter, which allows me to just make adjustments across a graduated segment of the image rather than across the whole image. Which is handy if I want to enhance just the sky for example.

Recently I've been experimenting a bit more with split toning, which allows you to tint the darker parts of the image and the highlights separately, which can achieve a different kind of look to simply using the temperature adjustments.

I liked first one. I reckon you could get a really moody one from that with some extra processing.
