        Yodel.

        Missed a delivery on Friday. I ring up to arrange redelivery for today. Check online tracking and they appear to have attempted to re-deliver it yesterday.

        So now I have no clue where my item is and am hugely annoyed. Why did the seller use Yodel? Why?

          Yup how they haven't lost all there contracts is anyone's guess it fills me with dread when i see a yodel card on the mat, likewise City Link make my blood boil, i once had to drive out to some industrial estate on the motorway to pick up a parcel from them, i worked nine to five at the time and there collection point was open 9 till 5.30 i just managed to get there, racing through rush hour traffic only to be told "sorry mate we forgot to take it off the van."

          on a more positive note I got a parcel from DPD the other day they give you an estimated arrival and you can see where your parcel is on a little map, loads of info too, what number delivery you, where the driver is, what delivery number he is on, and even what your drivers name is. I thanked Trevor personally when he showed up on time, an excellent and very simple use of gps! wish more company would adopt it.

              Had a set of speakers delivered by DPD a few weeks ago, excellent service as you say. The only problem was that I found watching the delivery progress on the web site to be quite addictive and didn't get as much work done as I should have

                Oh god, job interview tomorrow. No idea of what to expect, not even a dress code. Haven't received any indication of what will actually be going on, so I'm just arriving there in the morning and hoping that it won't be a group interview with loud people that try to dominate the room.

                    Ended up being a simple face-to-face interview. They were really nice and completely unlike the last interview I went for. I have a two week training course starting on Monday and if I pass a programming test at the end, a junior software development job for at least two years.

                    Fingers crossed that this'll be my exit from retail.

                    Edit: I'll add an irk- three times today I've been asked why I want to leave retail. Each time I've had to come up with a diplomatic response, when everybody already knows that the real answer is "Why do you think I'd want to leave?!?"

                              TNT failed to deliver Monday. company said they'd arrange a before 10am delivery and lwt me know when thay would be. No phonecall but a failed delivery note yesterday. What the hell is wrong with people?
