You'll get your city tax bill in June, you can pay it over the next few months with their convenient slips. Don't ask how much I still owe.
Guys at the office said that's about right. The health insurance is actually double that but the company pays half.

Maybe it'd be cheaper if I did the insurance through my town hall like before but never mind. I get a cool plastic card, now!

Pension is really annoying cos I'll get squat for it unless I leave within 3 years.

I'm sure it's helping some old guy somewhere but the pension system here is the pits thanks to people not making babies or something.

In my recent travels to America the price of basic health care is incredible

In the uk you can get pain killers and Elastoplast for less than a quid over there it was like ?5 for a strip of painkillers

      Bloody joke

Same here, Charles/Mods, couldn't a Mod post a reply before locking a thread to say why it was closed. Guess it was due to name-calling or something. Was a decent thread last time I dipped in there.

Fog should burn off by eleven if the sun is out, best of luck.

Guy knocked off his bike outside my office. Van just carried on, ignorant pig. I phoned for an ambulance, guy is ok. Nice MTB is knackered though, carbon fibre strands everywhere. Another guy in a truck was chasing after the van.

How much does one of those cost these days?

Better off buying in bulk, ten hours for maybe ?180 as a starter package (talking East London, so payment in cash/drugs/guns only of course).

AA and the like are about ?25 an hour I think.

Know it cost us about ?580 to get our daughter through her test first time two years ago, that's all in, lessons and theory and practical tests etc.

Private guy, ?20 an hour - he taught my 18 year old brother last year.

Had a two hour session and he said I was better than the girl he was going to teach next that had had 15 lessons, heh.

Gotta get used to that clutch though.

Let me tell you something that will blow your mind, There is no "girl with 15 lessons under her belt that's worse than you", i want you to go back to your instructor and scream this in his face "I'M A MAN AND I CAN LEARN TO DRIVE WITHOUT YOUR CONFIDENCE BUILDING MIND GAMES"

I wish somebody had told me it was Gran Turismo I was supposed to study.

I based my test on the first level of Driver...

I did my test stoned. I had the regional head examiner too.

I passed with two minor errors, whilst being filmed by the BBC for a pilot TV show with in-car dash cam and everything. Not an S-Rank but it did the trick.
