Vib Ribbon JP seems to be about ?12 on eBay so you should be able to get it pretty cheap actually in Japan.

Just keep in mine that it has a larger box than most PS1 games.

Well, there was Vib Ripple on the PlayStation 2. Mojib Ribbon too. I haven't played either, need to pick those up.

Mojib Ribbon is some weird calligraphy game that's impossible unless you can read and write Japanese, and I think the other one was designed as showcase software for Sony's Cybershot camera linkup IIRC.

I remember looking them up a while ago, sadly there's no true music based sequel AFAIK

Mojo Ribbon is not impossible to play, it's still a rhythm game so all you need is timing. It's just the point is completely lost if you don't know what he's writing/saying so it's not particularly fun or rewarding to play.
