We're not going to pretend like we didn't just add ads to the site. We added ads. They're on the left side. You can see them if you look over there. We're not going to say anything about them - just know that they're there now and they're probably not going to hurt anyone or get all up in anyone's business but you should be aware of their existence so that you can make informed decisions but for the most part they'll mind their own business in the side over there and you should mind yours and we're not going to say any more about it. Except for one more thing: that we are aware that sometimes the ads are for cilantro and that ads for cilantro here are both tragic and ironic. Google HAS A SOLUTION and we are working on addressing that.

I want to eat an onigiri/rice ball but it's been in the fridge and is cold. It's so cold outside and I'm so lazy that, rather than leave the warm, cozy staff room to use the microwave in the kitchen I've opened a browser-based CPU stress test, set it to 100%, and put the onigiri near the laptop's vent to warm it up

Little thing that brought a smile on my face today: borrowing a copy of the new Tomb Raider for the 360 from the local library. Didn't cost a penny and I can play it for a month. They had some other decent, new games there too.

Some good work news today. We finally got the new contract for Maiko which means only 1 hour less per week but an extra day off for family time. Very pleased.

Brought my girls to meet astronaut Chris Hadfield this morning at a signing of his book. Awesome and inspiring. He was great with them. A good guy on top of being a spaceman.
