    Dropbox support.

Latest dropbox on Android supports exporting files to an external SD card. Here's the first round of emails, emphasis is on the important bits:

Hi, I followed the instructions at:
We’re always listening and looking for ways to make Dropbox fit more seamlessly into how you work — no matter which device you’re on. Exporting Dropbox files to an external SD card has been one of our most-requested Android features, which is why we’re excited that it’s part of our latest Dropbox for Android release, available for all versions of Android.

And whilst I get it to display my devices internal storage by checking "Display advanced devices" it will not display my external SD card.
    Regards - Brad
Initial response was to ask me to prove that the CD card was working by using another app that *could* write to the SD card, which I did, including screenshots.

    The response was:
Thanks for getting back to me and for the screenshots.
If you do not see your external SD card listed, while you are in the “Save to” menu (after tapping “Save to device”), tap “Menu” then “Settings” and then select “Display advanced devices”. You will then see your external SD card show up as an export location.
    Hope this helps!
You may recall my first email told them I had done this.

Anyway, the problem gets passed to someone else who asks:

    Thank you for your response.
XXXXXXX asked me to look into this for you, my name is YYY and I'd be more than happy to help!
Can you try install a different file manager, and use this to export your files. Finally to make sure I have a clear understanding of the process you are taking, could you take a screenshot of each step you take to export these files (this will be extremely helpful). For help on taking a screenshot, see:
Thank you in advance for your reply.
So Use a different file manager and show screenshots of it successfully moving files to the external SD card.

    Then I get this back:

    Thank you for your response.
Thank you for the screenshots, they were very helpful.
I can see that you are not using the Dropbox app to export the files. The integration you see in the "My Files" app is not a Dropbox made integration, but a app called "Samsung Device" which is connected to your Dropbox.
I'm afraid I am unable to provide support for Samsung Device but you should be able to export to the SD card from the Dropbox app.
    I hope this clarifies things.
They're trolling me right? They have to be!

CEX Leeds. Was queuing up to buy Nanostray on DS earlier and noticed about 12/13 CCTV cameras from where I was standing, several pointing at the staff behind the counter! Used to feel like quite a counterculturey place back in the day, now it's more of a 'go in, get out' type of place, pity really.

Our laws should consider the welfare of animals and no religion should be above the law.
          This.

Zero ****s given if you think for some ****ed up reason you need to bleed an animal out. If you don't like it **** off to a country where they predominately share the same ethos about killing animals in ****ed up ways. Everyone's happy then.

Were they focused on the staff or the tills though.

Nanostray, fantastic game, so was Nanostray 2. Wonder if the online rankings sites are still up....

Yay, I'm still ranked 19th overall

I assume the tills but just so damn many of them in such a relatively small space that it seems like overkill. Maybe stuff occasionally kicks off in there? I don't know, just seems to be LOADS of 'em! But for ?3, quite the barg, had a lot of fun with it tonight.

                "Reserve price" on eBay.

It should be done away with. If there's a minimum price you will sell an item for, you should have to set that as the starting price. If you're worried that's too low, then that's also too ****ing bad.

I've recently "won" several auctions where I didn't go over the reserve (because not enough other people bid). The whole point of eBay is that the bidders decide the price of your item. If you're not happy with that, there's always "Buy it Now".

I just don't bid if there is a reserve price.

Normally I don't. Unfortunately I'm bidding on something that doesn't come up very often.

Nothing exciting. It's a hand-held GPS for hiking.

Probably won't get it though. As I could use my phone, I would like one for the convenience, but I'm not willing to pay much for it. I keep bidding on the model I want speculatively in case I get lucky.

I've just tested my old Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 with Cyanogenmod and Strava. It went through 70% of the battery in 10 hours (no other apps loaded apart from Strava, airplane mode apart from GPS). Seems pretty good for single day hikes.

                            Meetings.

I had a 3.5 hour meeting today. I have six smaller meetings tomorrow.

If it's anything like the meetings I have to attend, that three and a half hours could've been compacted in to ten minutes.
