No, I think I understand what you mean

Do you have any examples? If the jerking is regular(like every quarter-second) then it sounds like a conversion thing, similar to how films are adjusted for American DVDs. If the videos were filmed in the UK then it's likely they were recorded at 50fps, not 60fps, and that would probably explain the jerking. From what I understand, YouTube does 48fps and 50fps as well, so maybe the uploader has to just change their export settings.

I typical pan won't tax your system like a fast-moving trailer or something so if only pans are jerky but everything else is fine then I think this is why.
