Was replacing the voltage regulator in my SNES Mini the other day, for no good reason and upon desoldering it and pulling it off the board I pulled a pad on the topside of the board off. Now this pad didn't have a trace to it so it wasn't actually doing anything... But I find it annoying that I made that mistake and caused what could be considered damage to the PCB. Might buy a "trace" pen just to colour in the 3x3mm square where that pad was, and then redo the power jack too.

I swear to god, I never stop opening this SNES Mini. Everything I've done to it though, the video looks class.

My supervisor making it sound like we're all getting laid off. I wonder who'll do the work then?

Someone unqualified but cheaper than you.

You still need someone to check guests into a hotel, no matter how the local economy is. I wouldn't mind a drop to 4 days per week from September as I have to do school full time again. I'm not qualified to do the job technically as I've never been anywhere near hospitality in my school career. Funny thing is that she is quitting in August to move to Panama anyway. We just had one agent quit and one was (probably) let go this mornng after walking out over the weekend. Moral of the story: she needs to STFU. I've been considering talking to her boss about her attitude towards the rest of the night team recently. I say hello and she ignores me, and it's pretty much been this way for the last month or so.

To me it sounds a bit like Simon Farnaby, I'm not sure though.

Have recently been expected to do someone online training/validation for my terrible job. The PR lady was all like "oh it'll only take 10 minutes to an hour!" and boy, I must have spent 3 hours or so getting through everything. And that is 3 hours of multiple tabs open, tolerating the frankly terrible patronising design of the software I was having to deal with. Ugh, it was awful. What a load of rubbish.

On my way into work, I have to navigate a big roundabout where the left lane goes straight on and the right lane is for cars turning right.

When I need to get on the roundabout, I wait until the left lane is clear as any cars in the right lane will be going right.
Today, as I pulled on to the roundabout, a learner started to move from the right to left lane, without indicating until after he'd started moving.

I've no problem with that, we were all learners once, but as the learner car pulled in front, the instructor wagged his finger at me! I was furious! It's somehow my fault he instructed his learner to change lanes when the lane wasn't clear! Raaargh!

Don't worry, it's not just learners. Having spent the last three years driving to and from work (instead of using the train), it's amazing how many people think the order of actions is "manoeuvre, signal, mirror"

That, and the copious number of people who are close enough behind so I can see them picking their nose in my rear view mirror...
Lie with passion and be forever damned...

I just assume that all the people on the road are even worse drivers than I am and thus expect them all to do crazy stuff at every opportunity.

You'd have thought he'd have seen the trails of smoke from my tyres as I parallel drifted onto the island...

I find amazing when people reach the second step of your list, let alone get it in the right order!

this is my biggest irk on the roads, (especially being tailgated at higher speeds). Its beyond me why a person would risk an accident and all the things that entails by driving so close, as there is now way they could stop if you put on the brakes. Also the fact that they are liable for the accident/personal injury claim by driving into you from behind, makes it possibly one of the most idiotic things you could possible whilst driving.

Whenever anyone gets too close to me, just a tap on the brake pedal so the brake lights come on is usually sufficient. There are far too many knobs on the roads nowadays though, and all are in such a hurry to try and get a couple of car in front at every opportunity etc.
