Little Things that Irk You: Episode V

Some 7805 arrived. Stripped down the console I'm replacing one in, started cleaning the PCB of dust, unscrewed the PCB from the case and then it was time to leave.

Nah I had to leave for work! Aside from that voltage regulator I can't see any visible signs of further damage so hopefully everything is swell. Will know tonight.

We've both got a fever. And not the sexy, Kylie Minogue-style fever. We,'re both hovering around 38'C.

Feeling anxious as **** all the time. Worrying about money and where we will be in ten years. Stressing over everything at the moment and it's annoying as I never do that.

I agree with kryss. Take it slowly and for now. Concentrate on the good things even if there aren't many you can think of. I'm in a similar boat and I beat myself up over financial mistakes I've made more than everyone else combined and that was the first thing I had to get under control. So I started to do little things like hoovering and cooking to hold back feelings of helplessness. Also, when I'm cussing myself down there's always the "oh, and one more thing: all those dishes in the sink. Seriously? Are you a 3yo?" And it feels good to say "I just did them!".

The stupid thing is I generally have lots of good things and always appreciate my life. However I think my Crohns is really getting me down again. I'm chronically fatigued because of it and the days seem to just pass me by in a tired haze. Plus a few niggle things at home aren't helping either. Hopefully will be sorted ASAP providing nothing goes wrong with Maikos new job.
