Obviously, if they just ignore the public they can carry on, not like anyone is going to so anything about it except tut and moan online.

If everyone was really that bothered we would all march on parliament and drag them out screaming.

I mean, they won an election. That's really the problem. No-one who didn't vote for them is in any way surprised that things have gone to the dogs.

Sad that we have reached the bottom but with a nation so disinterested in whats going on in politics its hardly surprising, the police managed to kick partygate down the road so far that the public anger has dissipated and things have moved on in the world since lockdown. Johnson has Putin to thank for keeping him in a job it would seem, as the "we have more important things to be worrying about", and "i have a job to do" is the sound byte he wants everyone to hear.

How Sunak is still here is a mystery though, him and his wife's tax affairs make his position completely untenable add in his disaster of a spring budget, his mishandling of the energy crisis, and the tax rises and you end up with a situation where if he worked for a private company he would have been sacked for incompetence a long time ago. The only reason hes still here is more than likely that people might construe his sacking as another sacrifice to save big dog scernario.

I would of thought the armed forces would of imprisoned anyone in government with ties to Russia the instant the war broke out.

            Nothing matters anymore.

It's beyond a joke that any politician let alone the PM even gets a choice about resignation when it comes to breaking the law.

Tory MP Nigel Mills has called for Johnson's resignation over Partygate saying he believes worse is still yet to come on the matter.

It shouldn't need to be worse.

Yeah, this is just bizarre. The man's been found guilty of criminal conduct!

I miss the days when an MP doing something like speeding was a very serious matter.

He stood up and lied to parliament multiple times, which has now been proven. If the tory party back up someone who will so blatantly lie then in effect democracy is a joke.
He can't possibly be trusted again, and the opposition should ask him if he's lying every time he speaks.
They have to get rid of him.

The media and Tory MP narrative is that “Boris” can’t be forced to resign, as it’s a wartime situation and he’s the sole leader of the western response to Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the resistance to Russia will collapse if left to the limp-wristed European Union countries.

Between this and a billionaire being in charge of our tax laws, I don’t think we’re all that different to a oligarch-run state like Russia.

Yep like trumple, bungle has single-handedly held the front lines again Russia in the Ukrainian fronts, all by himself.

Good f****** lordy, the state of this country depresses me into a coma of not caring, I’ve just given up.

I'm pretty sure we changed prime minister's in the middle of WW2 as things turned out just fine...

Plus isn't France going through an election right now?

Do we really need Boris to lead us in this time of need? Get him out now, he's incompetent at best, a liar and a criminal to boot.

Plus this whole conversation about how doctors and nurses were having a drink in their break... No they weren't mate, they were working insane hours in horrible conditions and following the law for the duration...

I think the Tories think it was all just a bit of nonsense and fun, not... you know, a real crime based on the rules they'd set out for "everyone" to follow.

They've now become operating systems. Are the names just random?
