Get rid of her for spectacularly poor judgment alone, then swiftly move onto establishing what Labour are going to do to stop people being in an eternal cost-of-living crisis where everything has to be cut back so shareholders can add more money to their existing piles. I’m sick of it all, I want a political system where we actually do things rather than be in a constant state of all parties infighting whilst the country burns down in the background. Had enough.

It’s not OK when people on the Right do that, neither should it be when it’s someone on the Left.

Antisemitism is racism, Jewish people were victims of the worst planned genocide in human history
You don't need to apologise, we're having a discussion and it's important to hear different point of view.

I don't think anyone here is disagreeing with this.

As someone who has experienced years of abuse, Abbott should be more aware that saying this racism is worse than that racism is so very wrong.

A politician who can't see that shouldn't be in that position and it's right she should be penalised accordingly.

It's disappointing that someone who's achieved so much and weathered so much criticism and abuse would end their career by revealing their total lack of empathy.

Personally, I think we need to be careful making sweeping generalisations like this, though.

Farmers are angry at the proposal as the apex predator would be a natural threat to stock

How do Scottish farmers know this? Maybe they call it...

This. You can practice Judiasm without actually being ancestorally "Jewish", my old manager, as white and caucasian as anything, converted when he married a Jewish woman. Same way I know a couple of very white, born CoE, folks who have converted to Islam.

Which basically is why I never try to use the word "racism" when referring to actions happening negatively against people who practice a particular religion, because race has nothing to do with it on the most part, as religion can, and usually is, multi racial.

Should Abbott be suspended for her comments regardless though? Absolutely.

Noticed Anchor butter on offer at the weekend, seemed like a good price until I noticed they had reduced the pack size from 250g to 200g.

                Err no.

Britons ‘need to accept’ they’re poorer, says Bank of England economist

I don't know what to say about this. Clearly repeatedly voting Tory and Brexit has ****ed everyone, but no one will ever say that.

Chief economist Huw Pill says workers and firms should stop trying to pass on rising costs by hiking prices or demanding better wages

I mean, he's not wrong. We are, and we need to accept that.

Approximately 50% of the electorate has a particular responsibility. PONY UP ****ERS

This is good, my thoughts exactly. I've heard many times on tv reports Muslims for example being racially abused but then I think are Muslims/Islam a race? I've never heard about Christians being racially abused in that sense.
If you are an atheist and you are being given some stick about it by some hard line Bishop or whatnot would that be classed as reverse racism.

Since a lot of people think that footy is their religion if you abuse a Real Madid fan by saying their team is ****e and not as good as Barca, could that count as racism.
Four hundred million RM fans puts them just under the Buddhists in the RPL (Religion Premier League).

Not if both parties are the same race.

And just like his boss, The Governor of the BoE, who suggested that people shouldn't be asking for pay rises around the time inflation started to spiral, he's likely on a six-figure salary and additionally getting a healthy pension to boot. Easy for them to say that working people who didn't cause the country's financial problems should effectively settle for being just about above the poverty line.

He's a f-ing idiot just like his boss and his comments are both tin-eared and tone-deaf to the current climate, and the sh1thouse deserves all the criticism coming his way for it.

Yep, it's more important that people accept that they don't need to be poor and to stop propping up the corrupt party enabling an economic system that is so broken that anyone ever believing the myth that Tories are good with money and the economy gets slapped upside the head

UK suppliers have pocketed and are retaining £7bn of credit that belongs with households - it's for all that investment, innit?
