Horrific abuse allegations about a huge star in Japan, even after his death, but like Saville; His abuse was talked about in public before his death, just no one in Japan took any action. Even after the courts agreed with the claims.

I have a tendency to view Japan as wonderful but these 2 paragraphs remind me that Japan has its own, vile cultural tenancies just like every country, and I shouldn’t be so naive.
”Japan is a nation that prides itself on politeness. Being impolite isn't just seen as annoying or rude, it's socially unacceptable. Many Japanese people believe that inconvenience to others should be avoided at all costs. This can nurture a climate in which raising concerns about sexual abuse is seen as burdening others.
Furthermore, the national age of consent is still 13. Up until recently, men and boys have been exempt from being acknowledged as victims of rape in the eyes of the law. The rape of a man was just not possible in statute before 2017. All of these factors contribute to a society in which the sexual exploitation of men and boys isn't just taboo, it's often invisible.“

It may not be in the relm of being a peido but there's very often something. On a few occasions ending in suicide.
My son is a good looking lad who wanted to join an agency like this but for modeling. I went with him to the auditions and was not comfortable with it. Too much BS that they hid from the parents and compulsory long stays at locations to "study".
My son and I both said F*that.Last edited by Yakumo; 07-03-2023, 22:12.

EDIT: I should say, though, I wouldn't be surprised if this was pretty common around the world in manufactured pop music culture.

But I believe the next part of this was that Elon publicly apologised to him, then it was found that the guy came to Twitter in a buyout of his company, in a contract which has a $100million terminance clause.
