I feel the same, mate. But part of me doesn't want to lose his loud screaming backline management and no-nonsense passion. Would love to see Agger become more like Carra in that department.

I agree about carragher.
Was a good game to watch today. I was impressed with the hammers attack and Torres was excellent.

I said the same thing about Carragher to my brother as you boys are saying. He is past is best in long term, but he could start next fixture and still be the best player and atleast defender on the field. Agger to come in though and do the business long term.

The more I watch this season the more I think Carragher is beginning to err on the wrong side of old age as a footballer. It'd be nice to see if Rafa has the balls to go with Agger + Skrtel once Agger is fully fit.

I think it could be time to start phasing Carragher out over this season.

I agree. Sad to see it, like an old dog. Slowing losing the plot and slow.
Agger and Skrtel is the way forward.

You guys are writing Carragher off way too quickly, our defensive problems are alot more to do with the fact our defence isn't settled yet. Insua is still young and releativly new to the team still, Johnson is still stettling while Skrtel has been in and out injured alot. Agger has been missing too.

Just give it time, he'll come good

Its not the conceding of the goals I'm concerned about. Its his play in general. I still think he has a lot to offer the team and I hope I'm wrong but he just seems to have lost that slight reaction he had.

EDIT: Job done. Well done, lads. Good performances from Spearing, Degen, Babel, Aurelio, Ngog and Kyrgiakos.

Good amount of goals scored, but again the defence had a bit of a shocker. Can't help but think against better opposition we will get screwed. But it's hard to complain with winning and getting bag loads of goals. Can't wait for the Chelsea game.

We are getting battered by Fiorentina at the moment. 1-0 down. Feels like it's gonna be 4-0 by the end.

Fiorentina properly done us in that first half. We improved in the second. Were a bit unlucky with a chance or two, but overall a deserved win for the home team.

Gonna be a battle and a half this group.
