In those games against the mancs this season they were tight affairs, espcially the Anfield game where "we woz robbed" since we battered them for the whole match and they scored a last minute penalty box punt. Give us a top stiker and that game would have been dead and buried for the mancs.

See thats the point i was making earlier Champions League is all about on the night who plays the best or who wants it more as crap teams have proven this over the years(Nevrpool/Porto spring to mind) ..but over a long slog of a season through all different weather conditions and places to visit and many different kick off times it is far superior to win a League Championship than any Cup Competition..remember the league is a marathon and not a sprint like the knockout tournaments.

As for Neverpool they have hardly ever competed for the league,and that was only realy three times in the 17 years - 90-91, 1996-7 and 2001-2 ,its a very poor showing for a team thats suppose to be improveing every year to catch up to the bigger 3.

I think it's Great how you start talking down knockout competitions as if yers are not arsed and start talking about the prem all seriously. Yeah, we know what the prem means, but don't start putting down knockout competitions just coz yers got had off. Yers wanted that trophy, I am sure yers were as cocksure as you are now about us being 'neverpool' to be going to see them holding it on top of a bus at the end of the month. Were not a bad cup team either ,weve won the FA Cup more than anyone but it dont make us any bigger or better than we already are.

Its just when idiots who dont know what there talking about state as a fact that Your bigger/better than we are and vise versa just because you have reached another cup final and totaly forget that there is a League campaign that we consistantly fight for every year and as for us not having enough want ,thats was never the case but just a case Milan being better on the night which is always the way in any cup competition.

Who said we're better than the team who wins the league? I know I certainly didn't. Lets put it this way. The team who wins the European cup is the best European tactical team, while the team that wins the league is the best overall form team.

Two different set of tactics and players required. No doubt our manager is better than yours as far as European football is concerned. While ours is still learning the domestic tactics needed.

it was me who said it, but it was based on the fact in history we are a bigger team concerned when we have won more than our neighbours up te east lancs,
its just bitterness. sure we would love to win the premiership, but if we keep getting into the european cup final every 2 years ill take that.

Parry just released a statement on ticket allocation for the final.
Even if you're a season ticket holder who's been to every home CL game you're not guaranteed a ticket, have to go into a ballot with all the fan card holders who went to all home games.

I'd be pretty upset if I was in that situation - some of my mates will be crossing their fingers...

Hopefull Milan will return a few thousand unsold tickets like last time.
