I still remember the evening very well as I went to the pub and sat down sweating like a pig for the first 45 minutes and honestly thought that Liverpool had no chance to come back at all when it was half time. I decided to walk home and have an early nights sleep for the next day and was disappointed that Milan scored 3 goals in the first half.

As I was walking home just as the second half begun, I got a text message saying that Liverpool had scored but I carried on walking but not as quickly, taking my steps slower in hope of another goal. Minutes later, my phone went to read the message and just sprinted back to the pub faster than I will ever do in my life.

From that moment on, I had the biggest smile on my face despite plenty of tense moments along the way. When Dudek saved that last penalty, my whole body froze and erupted to cheer for an age.

If Liverpool can do something like that again, I'll be a very happy man.

I dunno in what context you wrote this cos some of the text has been removed but we had one of your Liverpool fans in our thread when we lost against Milan gloating all over the place, we took it in as harmless banter to be quite honest. Not that I mind but there was the famous "AIG - Almost In Greece" picture aswell, but again was all taken in as harmless banter which is what occurs between rival sets of fans. You say everyone hates Man Utd fans? Why? Gloating? How many times are we going to hear "5 times".....probably about 5 million times, but again its all part of the banter.

I am a die-hard United fan but one of my favourite football moments is the moment Gerrard smacked home against Olympiakos, I will never forget that and the 2005 Champions League final rates pretty highly in my best ever matches. You are saying everyone hates Man Utd fans, but then in that case there are also a high percentage of "everyone" who also despise Liverpool fans. The Liverpool guys on here are actually a great bunch to be honest....hoolak, illumanati and Mr Holliss (just to name a few) and we have friendly banter back and forth....which is fun!

Oh and many (including myself) were celebrating wildly when we stuck it to you at OT and at the Kop end at Anfield.

The sad thing is although non man U fans hate the club and the fans, They're the media's darlings. I can't listen to Andy Gray's commentry when Man U are playing, the bias is unbearable.
