Lol, Liverpool are "linked" with nearly as many players as Spurs.

Just bagged two tickets to the Wrexham - Liverpool Friendly a week on Saturday. Anyone else going?

They're on sale right now BTW, so get in there quick!

Looks a bit all over the place, I bet it will cast some interesting shadows too :|
What is it, a minature model?

Strange shape. I believe the stadium has the new Kop has kind of its centre piece. Is that the big red thing on the right? With no roof?

If real, I like it. Wonder if it'll have the same atmosphere. I hope so.

Does indeed look impressive, should be loud in there as well, what with majority of the stadium covered by a roof of some kind.

The curved silver part will be the new Kop afaik.

As for the legitimacy, apparently these are phone pics taken of the plans/presentation given to the council and are the real deal.

Some will love it, some will hate it - but its certainly better than the generic Jose Alvalade-esque designs we had before.

Looks like it's gonna happen.

At least he has youth on his side - please god, don't let him turn out to have a Premiership career like Fernando Morientes...

El Niño will be great.

...you hope!

Like I said, it's great news that's he coming, and he has got youth on his side, but I sincerely hope he makes a better stab of Premiership life than Morienties did.

Torres hardly had a great record last season 14 goals is not prolific when you think lampard and ronaldo got over 20 a piece from midfiled.

True, he is playing in a tough team though. Plus due to certain AM injuries last season, he played most games on left wing. Anyhoo... we can only wait and see.

He's a different kind of player than Morientes. He has pace and added flair to his game. That makes him potentially better than Kuyt also. If he turns out ****e, then fair doos, but let's support the player and the team first

oh, and let the signing become official too

Morientes was 29 when he joined.

He was too old to adapt from the softly softly approach of European football.

torres is young and he is hungry.

I hope he succeeds as if we can get a 25 goal a year striker we will win the league.

Although
I personally would have bought Bent and Malouda with that cash...

His goal scoring record is pretty similar to Samuel Eto'o at the same age. (Eto'o scored a goal every 2.7 games compared to Torres with a goal every 2.9 games).
