They have cash available but I think they have pretty much said they wont be backing Hodgson in the market.

Thats what Comolli's appointment is all about. Well I hope they dont give him any money to spend. They need to get rid of him, I hear a manager who lives in the area is currently available.

Maybe it was just my reading into Henry's comments about January spending. But he pretty much said he wouldn't be buying.

"Can that be successfully done in January? A number of people I've talked with doubt it. Most people seem to think it will be the summer before we can really begin to improve. So the players - all 11 each week - have to be on the same page every match and have to live up to the history and respect this club has engendered - no matter what."
With that and Comolli joining the club I'm pretty sure Hodgson will not be getting what he wants in January. When I say sure I mean praying every night just in case there is a god.

The current side is good enough to limp through the rest of the season as long as the home form doesn't take a knock. Don't see the point in signing anyone in January.

We could be fielding the 1982 Brazil team at the moment, but if we are set up from the get-go at away games to defend the 18-yard box whilst praying someone will magic a goal up from a hoof from the back, new personnel probably isn't going to help.

            Very sad news. RIP, Avi.

Aye, very sad news about Avi and Bill Jones passing.

Well, I said I'd wait until the turn of the year to make a call on Hodgson - 3 points outside the relegation zone is ****ing abysmal at this stage of the season (even if we've played a game less than a few clubs).

I hate to see LFC sack managers, but he has got to go before any more damage is done.

                HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Woy has to go, surely. His insipid tactical efforts are so bad to watch.

N'Gog was poor tonight, fair play, but he was miles better than Torres. Still, Torres stayed on and was ****e. Babel is terrible. For 15 minutes of the first half Liverpool looked ok when Gerrard was playing wide right and Meireles (Liverpool's best passer of the ball) was allowed to play centrally. Whats worrying is they reverted back at half time and were crap for the rest of the match.

What has been coming out regarding Konchesky recently? Why did the fans cheer his coming off? The commentators mentioned something.

I need to get a pen and paper to write down the bull**** the commentators say. Something stupid about how Benitez took Liverpool from 2nd to lowly 7th. Better than 12th and 3 points off relegation places, I reckon.

Why oh why does Woy insist on banging it long at every opportunity. Liverpool have no striker on the books who can play that way, Ebanks-Blake would better serve Liverpool's style rather than Wolves' today. Ah well.

He really does. I know he didn't inherit a wonder squad but he is failing to instill anything in the team. The tactics are awful and they are so bad to watch.
They must sack him, and take some time to consider a replacement and the direction they want the club to go in.

Well to be fair to Roy. If he had taken off Torres, Liverpool fans would have booed him more. And everyone would be saying why take off Torres, when he can produce some magic even when he's having a poor game.

But I don't know what's up with him this season. Doesn't seem to have the hunger or desire he had in the last few seasons.

Lowest points total at the turn of the year for 56 years apparently, when the club was relegated.
                        56 years!!! Incredible.

I'm not sure Torres has played well enough this season to garner that kind of reaction from the supporters. He has simply played poorly all season. I think its clear he just wants to leave.

That or Woy's world renowned motivational speaking hasn't won him over just yet.

He's playing in a team which are incapable of creating anything of note for him. I wouldn't read too much into his body language as some pundits would have you believe is negative. He's always cut that figure to me. Then again, playing or Roy Hodgson must be a pretty soul destroying experience, what with his sunny disposition and need to appear to be the Premier League's most verbose manager in an interview situation.

His appointment never had the support of most reds I know, so I have no problem calling for him to go.
