Nope, it'll be blamed on sloppy defensive mistakes. Anyone see if the second Blackpool goal was offside? the header sent across the box that is.
The first goal was poor, Meireles had a very poor game by his standards so far this season. Gave the ball away so cheaply. Enjoyed watching the match though, it was a lot more fluid and interesting to watch compared with most of the games this year. Bring on Everton this Sunday, will be an interesting match. Boths teams struggling for form.Comment

Having to turn to him for cover when a key player is out shows how thin our squad is. Though maybe it might of been better having Meireles and Lucas in the middle and throwing Maxi in the mix.Comment

I think Lucas kept the moves flowing very nicely further up the field tonight, Maxi can do the same job in terms of passing but his work rate isn't up to anything like Lucas can manage.
Looking at the second goal, it may have been marginally off but it was very marginal so there is no need to complain. Basically it was down to stupid mistakes that the game was lost. Cut that out and they should be able to pick up more points.
All credit to Blackpool though, they really do give it everything they have and play some lovely flowing football. Adam's passing range is superb, I'm not surprised other clubs want him.Comment

Not the greatest start to Kennys reign but he's had less than a week so give him a few weeks to make some impression on the style and squad.
