Listening to some tabloid muppet on the radio (talksport) saying we should give Woy till the end of the season basically. Blaming the fans for being impatient.

As a fact, that may be so. But when you put it like that, you make it sound like it was entirely his fault. And I think you can squarely apportion that blame at the last set of owners. But don't let that get in the way of your unbalanced opinion.

The owners need to sort out the situation now. Either say Hodgson is the man for them or remove him now and end this horrific period of the club's history.
Indeed. An appointment to steady the ship, championed by the media, made by a regime so inept that few will appreciate the real damage they did to the club, and this was their legacy to us.

Steady the ship? To the bottom of the ocean, perhaps. Something must happen today to end this as there is no tangible evidence that an end to this is in sight, and his away record with and before us doesn't offer any hope.

        Get out of our club...

I do like Roy as a guy. But, the results have not been good enough: that simple.

We are Liverpool Football Club and should not be losing to Wolves, Blackpool and Blackburn.

Roy should walk if he had any sense...Retire gracefully and enjoy the millions you have earned. No hard feelings.

Get someone in with bright ideas and tactical guile: Van Gaal could be interesting.

Rijkaard is woeful...he only did well at Barca because of the team...he failed miserably at Galatasaray where he had to actually do some management.

I still look back at this article and how prophetic it was in it's tone. Unfortunately, it didn't anticipate such a tactically inept manager being bought in to replace Rafa.

As a Liverpool fan who has suffered the football played since the Houllier era (and possibly beyond) all I want to see is some 'nice' football. I don't care if that only gets us into the Europa league or what, I want excitement, which we haven't had regularly for a long time.
I'd love Coyle to come in and play the stuff that he did at Burnley and what Bolton are starting to do.

BBC are reporting the club are considering Woy's future. I should bloody hope so too, they're gonna have to sack him tomorrow or wait till after the humiliating defeat by United on the weekend if current form is anything to go by.

Hodgson was greeted with the words 'Hodgson Out!' painted on the wall at Melwood this morning.

I find that a bit embarrassing to be honest.

The man is a good talker, a nice guy, but at the end of the day, I don't think he has what it takes to get the best out of our (on paper) more than decent team.

I know this for sure having done a few successful seasons on FM2011.

The word count is definitely there, but what comes out of his mouth is pure drivel.

We'll probably play well at OT over the weekend and he'll get a further stay of execution.

Do we panic and go for 'anyone we can get' or cross fingers and wait for the 'right man'?

There's someone who lives in Liverpool and hasn't got a job atm, what a mess!

I don't know who to get in. If they do bin Hodgson, then the next manager will need time too. If Hodgson stays, will he get to choose who to buy this transfer window? Do we want him bringing in more Koncheskys and Poulsens?

                        It is a mess.

A short term appointment, giving the owners whatever time they need to find suitable candidates. I don't care, whether that's Sammy Lee staying, or asking the King to hold the fort.

Even Elvis would struggle to do a job there, he would do it his way though.
