Always worried? Or worried when Carragher is on the pitch? He has been culpable for loads of goals when he has played this year. I think its fair to say he is struggling with Rodgers' game plan.

It was all ok until Udinese picked it up a gear and the team couldn't keep up with them, thats to be expected against a team who are as good as they are and with Liverpool fielding a changed team.

I loved the way Downing got panned all night, everytime I've seen him play for Liverpool he's played on the wrong side, totally out of position. No mention of his cross for the goal being hit with his weak foot.

Downing played well on either wing for Villa...him and Young swapped constantly during the game so he doesn't have a 'wrong side' really!

Borini is out for approx 8 weeks after breaking a metatarsal during a U21 International training session.

Really hope Liverpool can carry that form into Sundays game against Everton. If they can keep creating chances like they have (as Rodgers said at the end) we should start to see more positive results.

We didn't deserve more than a point but my god that disallowed Suarez goal at the end want even close to being offside

Yes, Suarez was never in a million years offside. Poor decision by the linesman. Ref didn't have great game either - 7 yellow cards? really, I thought it was quite a tame derby myself.

Agree in the end Liverpool didn't deserve the win, but there was nothing wrong with that goal.

Was it actually ruled out for offside and not the player who headed it down for climbing all over the defender? I literally only saw it once and was miles too busy.

From what I saw the linesman speaking to Suarez looked like he said offside from what I could lip read. Gerrard is definitely ready to be phased out of the first 11 in my opinion.

Miralles looked very good too, an excellent player. Was relieved to see him not return after half time.

The Suarez dive towards Moyes was superb.

Seriously? The linesman ruled it out for offside. And wrongly so.

I honestly don't think he would've looked as good against a fit Glen Johnson.
