Yeah and they would be both wrong in saying that, whenever the fixtures are you have to do your job and win your games.

We have always had spending power during the Premiership years which like I said came as result of our success over the years. We didn't need some Russian billionaire to come in to make us a big club, we did that via hard graft on the pitch and earning it.

I could make silly statements like "Chelsea bought the Premiership" but we all know it takes a but more than that. However I think I would be right in saying that the arrival of Abramovich is the reason why Chelsea are in the position to win trophies. Saying that though, still haven't won the Champions League.

It was Ferguson who complained against the fixtures conspiring against him (which is what prompted Benitez' rant in the first place).

They've both complained about fixtures being against them. Benitez did it a season (or two) earlier.

Fair play, equaling the mighty LFC is a great achievement.
It's not quite as good as being by far and away the greatest, but I'm sure parity feels quite nice anyway. Keep this up for another 20 years and one day people may well look at United like they did at Liverpool.

Liverpool will always be looked at as great pretenders simple as that and fit the name NEVERPOOL cos quite simply you lot will never win the league

NEWS FLASH!

Just heard there was an attempt to steal the Premier League trophy away from Old Trafford. All is ok now though as the criminal has been caught.
