I reckon he's a Man Utd fan undercover. He's in the Arsenal thread stirring up **** now! He'd be right though, Arsenal wont win the league.

FWIW I dont think Liverpool will win it either!

The only Team I 100% genuinely supported in the Premiership was Q.P.R , That's always been my other Team, my Boy hood team growing up (I simply liked their kit) . Baring them , the only teams I've ever wanted to see lift the Premiership was Newcastle (for the fans and King kev ) , or Liverpool.
Sadly I think both Liverpool and Newcastle have been badly run , had poor managers and spend millions on crap .

It does get a bit disconcerting that he has to always turn up in this thread to complain. But there aint much we can do about that, let him harp on about what he does and we can discuss Liverpool in a sensible manner. Rather than the sensationalist guff he is flying through.

I'm more surprised, though, he hasn't turned up in the Arsenal thread or any other team bar Man U for that matter. Chelsea haven't won the league for a couple of years, thats a shocking statistic with all the money they've spent!!!!11!!!!1!!!

Liverpool were excellent after they got the goal at the weekend. Clearly a team that needs a bit of confidence about their play after the two losses previous. I'm very happy Benayoun did an excellent job swapping with Kuyt and occupying the space between Torres and the deep lying central midfield partnership. I think he is pretty much made for that role, he offers something different to, but at times as effective as, Gerrard in that position.

I'm still looking forward to Aquilani, I'm really hoping the Liverpool fitness coach/doctors can work some magic and get him turning out regularly.

Oh Get grip . 1st off not even the best pundits in the world can call Football , its not one could call an exact science. If you want to deal in Facts , then please tell me the last Time Liverpool were able to lift the Domestic League title ??.

5 Years in , 80 odd players in and something like ?250 Million spend , and to me Liverpool Team is the poorest since Souness left Liverpool to Root .
All we get from the Liverpool fans , is its either Next year , or
its so unfair that we don't have money to spend .

I can't see how you can call it the poorest team since Souness? We challenged for honours last season and we didn't win, but it's the closest we've been in a long time, most goals scored, lowest games lost, best goal difference.

Highest position since 2001/02, highest season points tally since the P'ship began oh and higher than when we last won the league.

The 250mil or however much money that has been spent has been used trying to sort out the squad over the last 5 or so years, it's only since we've increased our calibre i.e 2005 that we've been able to attract players such as Torres- he wouldn't have signed if Rafa wasn't here. We may still be weak in areas but i'm happier watching this current crop of players than i have been in previous years.

You mean for any team? I would imagine you are correct. Impressive stuff. Everyone (haters) seems to forget that there are normally at least 4 great teams competing for this comp, there's nothing more i would love than to see us lift the Prem soon but i don't see it as failure by the manager or players if we don't.
