There's no predicting the unpredictable, but I don't fancy our chances on Sunday. If you go by the books we've got a small chance of winning at best.

Aquilani is meant to be playing for the reserves this week, so he can't be far off.

We personally need Liverpool to get a minimum of a point for the weekend.

It's hard to call game. A weakened disheartened side needing to show the world they're still going to be competing this season vs. a near full strength side that's been getting results but not convincingly.

Benitez can't afford to start Gerrard only to take him off again though too much of an upheaval midgame.

Aquilani had a double chin last time I saw a pic of him he was so unfit, I reckon he might make the squad for Arsenal, but not this weekend.

Aquilani did get a little run out in the reserves tonight and it took him two minutes to do something that it took Lucas to do in two seasons Spray a perfect crossfield pass.

Looks quick and intelligent on the ball. Sly passes and that.

I'm pretty sure Bent got credited with the goal, he got the points for it for my fantasy league team anyway.

I suppose if he didn't get given the goal it would have been a bit of a hard one to explain for the ruling bodies. Since it should have been a disallowed goal.

It's clear to me that some higher power wants Bent to be in the England squad. He's scored a few penalties already this season (mind you, he still has to put them away), and a bizarre set of factors coincide to give him a freak goal. 8 goals in 9 matches isn't too shoddy.

Zaki did the same last year then the goals dried up.

Not saying that will happen with Bent but it could. Still, if he ends up with 25+ goals come May i wouldn't argue about an England inclusion given our striking option, anyone on form would be worth taking.

On current goal scoring form he should be in the England set up. Was he not the top Spurs goal scorer last season? He can score goals, no doubt, but I think he lacks something. Maybe its a mental thing.
