Aquilani isnt in tomorrows plans by the looks of it, he has a virus.

Might be an Aurelio cameo in the midfield again or Spearing or Plessis. What will be annoying is that Danny Murphy, if fit, is exactly the kind of player Liverpool could do with to tide them over at the moment. Its gonna be a hard game tomorrow, for sure.

No Johnson either. I'd like to see Degen get a look in after a good performance the other night. Well, I'm not to convinced on his defending, mind. However, his overlapping runs were ace.

Degen is a decent player. Be nice to see him get a look in. Pity about Aquilani, he seems to have a bit of class lacking when Gerrard is not about.

My problem regarding Degen is the fact he is lightweight, really lightweight. You know full well against a team who will like to challenge physically he will struggle. There is no doubt he has the ability of attack very well from deep, making runs and passes that can start moves.

He is definitely an option. I, however, would like to see Stephen Darby given a chance. Before the injury last year he was showing some real promise in the reserves. Looked very classy to me. Its a shame in a way Liverpool bought Glenn Johnson because it means there will be limited opportunities for someone like Darby.

I turned the game off from the TV, fooking awful. No I don't blame the ref. This time, for the first time I'm going to criticize benitez. Sorry but the starting line up was fooking awful. Playing Yossi out of his best position, starting with 2 reserve defenders, taking Torres off after about 65 mins, taking Yossi off after about 75 mins. The reactions and faces on Torres and Yossi said it all, they looked totally bemused why they were being taken off. Not only were they our best two players on the pitch, but in place of Yossi he brought on another reserve player!! All this BEFORE the two red cards. Everyone could see, the commentators could see, the fans could see, I could see, even my fooking blind granny could see that benitex put out the WRONG team from the start...

Why why why why why why why why why oh WHY!!!!!

Because Benitez is an average manager with too much arrogance. Its about time the loyalty of liverpool fans was dropped. You guys need to get a little more damanding of the club IMO. Far too big to struggle in such a pathetic manor.

Benitez has definatley not helped things in some of his decisions. I agree. Players not playing well. Should they be on the pitch? They must look pretty sweet in training coz I don't see it. We got to focus on building a better team now. We have Aquilani, fine. It's too late for this season though. We need some stronger back up up front in midfield and in defence.

I'm not saying our season is over, but it certainly don't look good.

Did you see the starting line up? What happened to playing Agger and Skrtel? What happened to playing Yossi in the BEST position? Why did he take Torres off, Yossi Off? I saw the expressions on their faces. There's no way Torres was injured, and IF!!! He was being taken off to save him for the Lyon game, then the manager has to go right now. Because that is scandalous to all the Liverpool fans that want to win the league.

It's over man, Benitez has lost it. You can't take your best players off when you haven't won the game. Just think of this, it's 1-1, Voronin and Torres playing, Torres scored a cracker in the first half. Manager makes a change, and takes Voro... no, Torres off, oh and then Luca... no, he takes Yossi off, who was having a good game, best player on the park.
Simple point, if Torres wasn't fit enough to last, then he shouldn't be starting in the first place. I really think the manager gave the game up with Lyon in mind. Just, how can he justify that action?

Agree with you. If he wasn't fully fit, he shouldn't have started.
