Got to say, we are playing ****e. Up until the goal we were sound. Since then we've been poor in final third and careless in defence when in possession and trying to build from the back.

I'm really finding the prospect of tuning into second-rate "European" Football with third-rate punditry (Colin Murray & Doggymore, anyone?) on a fourth-rate channel like Five hard to stomach.

I truly hope that Rafa does a "Bolton" and fields reserves and/or youth-teamers in the Europa League. Anything less than 200% focus on a top-four Premier League finish and a DRASTIC improvement in team form for the rest of the season is truly unacceptable now, IMO.

Spurs/Aston Villa/Man Al-Citeh (delete as applicable) won't finish in the top four because they're not good enough. I'm sorry, but they're not.

Liverpool's first XI is superior to all of the above when fit. Just a shame we don't have the squad depth, is all.

The one good thing to come out of this season so far is young N'Gog, pretty impressive the rate at which he is improving, already looks a better player than Babel. Very raw, but can't really complain for ?1.5m.

Couldn't agree more. I just hope that Rafa doesn't totally neglect his impressive development once Nando returns to full fitness.

Of course, given the way that our highly moronic media works, I fully expect that young Master N'Gog will not get any credit, even though you know that they would jizz at the very thought of him if he was in an Arsenal or Man-ure shirt.
