Should of turned Hull over to end the season on some kind of positive. Tbh..the result was fitting.

Everyone who cares about this club should be asking exactly why the club is in so much debt. It's not because of transfer activity, it's because these two lying ****s have basically got the club for nothing, and have us paying for their purchase, and in so doing bringing the club to it's knees.

Purslow was hoping to have new buyers in time for April. That has now passed and still no further forward, and we've got this puppet Broughton now towing the line of these two insidious bastards. Who in their right mind is going to pay this debt off and then stump up the money for the new stadium especially with the increasing price of steel.

Any right minded Liverpool fan who cares for the club, and wishes to see the best for it should be seriously considering making their voices heard before it's too late, and not just vacantly complaining about what's going on on the pitch.

Not too sure about your comment relating to Broughton being a puppet for those yank t**ts.

He is a respected business man with a high profile. He would'nt want his image/integrity blemished by a couple of goons.

However, reading some LFC forums, its being suggested the yanks are basically raping our club of money before they actually sell up.

Moores and Parry are partly culpable for the mess we are in with the clubs sale, in my eyes.

Moores and Parry partly? Moores partly, I agree with, he was looking to sell and asked his then CEO to get the best deal for the club and himself. That man was obviously Parry.

Parry is the one who gets all of the blame for what has happened. He basically told the Arab's to do one and got all cuddly with the American duo we have now.

Guys-does anybody on here have any inside info on Rafa's position/takeovers?

Seems to have gone quiet on both fronts so would be good to get a heads up...

I check daily on a few different sites.

It seems to be all quiet on rafa's position and the sale of the club.

At least we are getting some players in (tho' you could argue they are not world class), so at least we are attempting to strengthen the squad.

If we don't get a decent striker to partner Torres, or play when he's injured, I can see us struggling to score goals again.

No one at any club is going to move until after the world cup.

From what the media have been saying, especially some radio pundits, we'll definitely be without Gerrard and a high possibility of Torres going to according to their sources.

Either done deals or awaiting confirmation/work permit.

                          Read bottom paragraph regarding Jovanovic

Rafael Benítez has backed Fernando Torres to avoid another booking in the Europa League and to test Benfica to the limit

                          Danny Wilson

Very, very sad news. Only heard about this a short time ago.

Ex-Liverpool youth prospect and current Swansea City player Besian Idrizaj died in his sleep on Friday night. Cause of death yet to be confirmed. He was only 22.

My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends. RIP.

As far as our 'big' players go, the likelihood of them being sold seems to be.

                              Mascherano - Very Likely.
                              Gerrard - Unlikely.
Torres - Almost certainly not unless the club goes into administration.

I think Gerrard will go to Real Madrid. Mouriniho is more than likely to be there next season and it all makes sense as far as I can see. After the Chelsea flirt this is going to happen. I think are next season hopes are already a write off for anything better than top four so why would he not go and try one last chance at winning a league title.
