Euch @ that video, it starts off with more casual xenophobia (Maybe Hicks should reply with a video saying 'we saved your asses in ww2 and look how you repay us'?) and goes on to show celebrity endorsements of people who will be utterly meaningless to him.
It's not the fans club, its the owner's club. I don't claim that Burger King is my company because I eat there occasionally and I tell people that their burgers are better than McDonalds. Heck no matter what happens, it's not going to be Hick's club for much longer anyway.
At least they're not burning US flags for the camera now but I don't see any point to those kinds of videos. Change in ownership is happening no matter what, what Liverpool fans should be doing is trying to attract the a smart investor who's willing to splash out and treat the club as a long term investment. Videos like that don't attract smart investors.

They probably expect the bank to forcibly sell the club anyway so they may as well try to get a profit. I very much doubt either the board or the banks care too much about the footballing passion so it doesn't make a huge amount of difference.
Unless of course the bank decides to put the club into administration rather than offload it.

Don't think there'll be a refinancing deal. There are some solid contractual penalties if the debts aren't cleared by the deadline and RBS apparently indicated the last deal was the final time they'd refinance.
There's only so many times they can offer more expensive refinancing deals before the debt outstrips the value of the club
