Yeah, they did alright Babel should have scored but i'd have taken a draw at the start. Shelvey and Spearing did well and N'Gog was unlucky not to score after a superb first touch/turn.

Urgh, posted the wrong team above, sorry.

Probably the best performance of the season, which is good in that at least it represented an improvement. Or you can look at it the other way, because 'best' still wasn't all that good.

Didn't think much of Napoli, looked fairly happy to take a point at home.

Not a bad performance in the end. I liked Spearing and I think Ngog does ok. Babel missed a huge chance though. Should have scored.

Agreed. The much-heralded trio of Lavezzi, Cavani & Hamsik were pretty disappointing.

Best display of season for LFC so far, but that isn't saying much at all. We created very little that was clear-cut, Babel's big chance aside.

          Still. Want. Roy. Out.

Babel is atrocious, Konchesky looks out of place too. Was happy when Aurelio came on, seemed to add a bit of reassurance on the left hand side.

Jovanovic was an improver tonight, I thought. His passing was decent enough, set Babel's chance up, he isnt a winger though. It confuses me that the team is punting long balls up top and Woy isn't utilising Jovanovic's height at all.

N'gog and Spearing were the other plus points tonight too. I really appreciate the work N'gog puts in, he also shows good touches regularly. Shelvey didn't really get involved too much, he wanted to drop too deep meaning N'gog was regualrly isolated.

Did anybody else think playing Carragher for a single half was strange? Didn't make sense to me at all, if he needed resting then just leave him out.

I listened to Woy before the match and he didn't say he would be unhappy with a loss. The way he conducts his interviews is concerning, he seems very negative. The Torres comments are crazy.

On tomorrow's game - "What I am hoping for is a little bit of luck so the result goes our way..."

Awesome. How about trying to adopt a positive style of play and maybe try to win the game ourselves.

Its all too much for Roy I think....didn't think I'd be saying that this early into his reign.

I didnt watch it. Sounded like they dominated again but didn't create tons.

Sounded like the defence was very happy to just smash the ball forward at every opportunity.

Firstly, it has to be said that Blackburn were absolutely hopeless. Fat Sam hoof-ball at its most ineffective. But...

For an hour, this was totally different to anything seen this season.
The whole side playing noticeably further up the park, pressing the Blackburn players for the ball rather than waiting for them to slip up.
Cole, Maxi and Gerrard all close enough to Torres they could actually pass the ball to him on the floor.
A proper CM pairing - Lucas in particular was excellent, but he and Raul are very much on the same wavelength if today is anything to go by. Lots of good, quick, short passing.
10 efforts on target! Should've scored more.
Threatening from corners - Kyrgiakos was superb again, our best CB by far this season.

Last 20 minutes wasn't so good and the team dropped deeper and deeper, but when you haven't won for so long that is pretty understandable.
Konchesky went from having quite a dodgy game (he was at fault for the goal, again) to having a nightmare in the last 20, hoofing the ball all over the shop. I'm praying for Aurelio to get 100% fit at the moment.

Rumours doing the rounds of a meeting between players and coaches this past week, and when you look at how drastically different the set-up today was, they are quite easy to believe.

amazing we won a game!! Still in the bottom three but hopefully a step in the right direction.

Looked to me like the players decided his system didnt work and just sorted it out amongst themselves. I still hope Roy goes soon.

Dalglish being involved in some capacity is also doing the rounds.

The side that beat Blackburn last week looks unchanged against Bolton.

Sadly, that means Paul Konchesky starts. The guy has no business playing top-flight Football, let alone playing it for us.

First half was alright but some of our players are so badly out of form it's painful to watch them miss pass after pass.

Another thing is the way every team we play this season seem to be really up for it. They can smell blood and believe they can beat us. The way Bolton are battling and arguing for everything really shows we have to play with quality to beat these teams. Otherwise we're fooked.

                                1-0!

We've probably nabbed an undeserved winner (hopefully), with 3 mins & stoppage to play. My god, our passing has been downright atrocious at times today.
