Yeah, I only like the kits. Don't really follow them. Too much LFC in my heart for any other team

Well in reality it is hard to follow a team from miles away. I don't really support any team but along with Arsenal, Reysol are a team I keep an eye on.

Congrats hoolak, another one to the fold! My 4 year old loves Torres!

I live just 5 mins away by train from FC Tokyo and Verdy's home stadium. Though I'm more of a Verdy Fan I'll enjoy watching the Tokyo derby.

Lucky git. I went to the stadium, well walked around the outside of it when I went to Tokyo a couple of years ago. Went to the McDonalds near there and saw the FC Tokyo display. Got myself both a Verdy and FC Tokyo shirt too!

The club store outside the ground seemed to have a lot of Juventus stuff. More than the Verdy and Tokyo merchandise. A lot of pics of Del Piero too.

Oh jesus chris, Liverpool have been linked with Chris Samba. Hodgson needs shooting if that is the kind of target the club is stalking at the moment.

Please oh please banish Woy. I think if Samba were ever to join Liverpool I'd start following Bolton. They've always been a club I liked and this season they are entertaining.

                Nah....

Player's agents always 'leak' stories like this to drum up prices.

Saying that, I wouldn't be that surprised.

                I haven't not enjoyed a season like this since Souness...or Houllier's last.

The really scary thing of course is he probably sees him as an option up front...

Some more of Roy's now legendary arm around the shoulder, man-management.

?...the initiative and the desire to take Joe did come from Christian [Purslow, then managing director] perhaps more so than myself because I wasn?t in the position to say these are the players we should be targeting as I hadn?t been offered the job at that point.

?He?s not so much a player I can take responsibility for. I?d have to share the responsibility for Joe, less so than people like Poulsen, Meireles and Konchesky, who are players I was happy to bring to the club."

Just what a struggling player wants to hear...

Nothing sticks to this man. Excuse after excuse. It may well be true that he had little to do with sanctioning his signing, but he comes off as an incredibly whiny defensive old fart. No surprise that Cecil decided to play football manager for real, lining up the deal for Cole, either.

There are reports today from various place of how Keisuke Honda has agrred verbally to join us. If true, that would be great on a commercial level, and he's not a bad player too. Cracking free kick on him.

It would be great if he came, but why on earth would anyone want to come to our club?
We look a shambles and I think well down the pecking order of clubs for good to great players wanting to join.

That is frankly shocking. He seems to have gone from one man management blunder to another this season.

Out of interest, do Liverpool have cash to spend in January with the new owners?
