So no, I don't fear going to Old Trafford, although you'll probably fluke a last minute winner as alwaysAs for the better team, if you were the better team you would have taken your chances....oh wait there were no real chances apart from the mistakes Edwin made
Simple matter of fact is we came to Anfield once again and did a job on you guys, defended extremely well and played some decent attacking football when we had to. Also remember it could have actually been 2-0 if Rooney hadn't missed that sitter in the second half

I dont think there was anything lucky about the goal, it was a fantastic corner in that it wasnt just whiped in the box, I cant remember when liverpool had a clear shot on goal so cant say they deserved anything out of the game.
They wernt bad though, I'm sure as soon as they have the guts to get rid of Gerrard the whole team will do better, thats a general thing though, not anything to do with the game.
You can tell benitez wants rid of him the way he keeps substuting him with 20 minutes to go thats for sure. Important players dont get that treatment in a game when you are losing.Last edited by rmoxon; 19-12-2007, 02:04.

I don't know what rmoxon is. But if he think that if Gerrard was to go off his pop in the summer and a club wouldn't pop up with 20mil or more for him then he is a saggy boobWhen he's on form he is outstanding. Granted his form has been hit and miss of late, but I do remember seeing him having some sterling matches of late i.e Newcastle game for example. Maybe rmoxon is an England fan and only saw him there. Anyways... breast droop.

lol, wow, hes so good at backing his arguments up isnt he?
Anyway I've seen him play in most matches for liverpool this season and besides the ocasional momemnt when he seems to care that hes in the middle of a premier/champions leauge league football match, he rarely has anything other than an average and uninfluencial game. Calling me a tit in as many different ways as you can wont change that.Last edited by rmoxon; 19-12-2007, 11:48.

And anyone who believes Liverpool would be a better team without Gerrard needs their head read. He's not on top form right now granted, but he is still the heartbeat of the team. And when he is on form, there is no better midfielder in the premier league.
