What an embarrassing result. But hey, we were ****e and got what we deserved - nothing.

Not many teams can come to Old Trafford and win (let alone score four against us!) so credit to Liverpool.

        Whats to be embarassed about??

We played **** and got beaten by a fantastic Scally performance. End of.

I think thats the difference between Man United and Liverpool these days. The expectation level with results.

Most United fans generally know that one loss in 30 isn't a seismic event that might cost us the league like it is for Liverpool, which is why the general feeling is "Oh Well", lets batter Fulham next week.

Most United fans i have spoke to today while obviously disappointed, aren't that arsed about the result truth be told, which kind of reinforces what i have said above.

Tbh, i am more bothered about Chelsea than Liverpool getting a head of steam under Guss.

Let off some steam, bennet! It's okay to be angry, mate.

I'm just winding yers up. Happy with a fantastic result at Old Toilet.

It is true though, its a positive step for liverpool (they are finaly playing well against the top teams) but for Man U its not a big deal.

Unless we mess up big time the title is still ours (I doint think that the run in is that hard now with the exception of Arsenal).

I'm sure Rooney feels like a right plonker at the moment though.

Aren't arsed? You having a laugh? Typical Man U fans playing it down. I know you are stinging inside. That's the double over you this season, and pretty much in both games we ran you over.

You should bless your cotton socks the likes of Stoke and Fulham have done you a favour this season and held us to draws.

So, because of that, you're defo still on for the league, granted, however you're not going to run away with it.

We had the double over you guys over the last two seasons, must of stung you guys hard then eh?!

I do find it funny that most Liverpool fans are making a huge song and dance over these two wins but when we did it to you guys over the previous two season, nothing much was said by the majority of our fans. Hmm I wonder why?

4 points clear with a game in hand does help take the sting out a little.

I'm not saying I'm happy about the loss but it would have been a lot worse had the league been closer.

Im so disturbed by our performance yesterday there was no way i could sleep last night been up since 7am on a sunday is not good lol.

Still looking at the bigger picture with 4 pts clear and a game in hand still think we are favourites, although it aint going to be easy with some tricky games left to play like the derby and Villa but more importantly starting next week at Fulham .

                        G.

Im still gutted at the result 2 days later, this one hurts, losing isnt nice but like this is worse, i think we will win it and with points to spare as i cant see liverpool or chelsea winning 10 games in a row each which is what they have 2 do that just wont happen i hope, all we do know is that if we win 8 games then it dosent matter.

Yeah, it's not the loss, it's how United lost. And make no mistake, they LOST. Liverpool took their chances, but they were all handed to them by sloppy defending. That's what gets me the most. Had a good few chats with Liverpool fans at work today, and I don't think anyone can quite believe United ****ed up that much. We then went through the fixture list, and the season could get more interesting. If we get through Arsenal, Villa and City with 2 wins and a draw, we'll be alright.

That defeat has got all the pundits talking up the chances of Liverpool and Chelsea, one only hopes all this talk doesn't put doubts in the minds of the United players.

In other news, Vidic has been banned for 2 games and I think he needs that little break to get himself together after that awful performance. Hopefully he made all his mistakes for the season in that one match and he returns on form, ready to help us retain the league title.

Pundits like hyperbole. It's in their interest to make things sound more exciting than they really are. I honestly don't see Liverpool winning every game between now and the end of the season. Chelsea on the other hand.... it will be close.

But then, United's loss just puts Liverpool back to where they'd have been without that stupid loss the other week. So it's very much a case of As They Were, but with fewer games to go.

We do have to be a little concerned about doubt getting the better of some players, but Fergs won't have that. Although Carrick has been great this season, I recall him suffering a drop in form the same time last year - maybe someone who finds it hard to deal with the pressure? If VDS starts scuffing clearances like last season, I'll be concerned. Even Scholes was suffering in the CL match midweek.

Still, I'd be very surprised if United didn't win the league still. Liverpool may have beaten United twice this season, but they'd trade both those results for a 4 point lead right now
