Well I was having banter with Eclipse, but at least you've been to see you Club unlike some.. Anyone that had a different opinion to that of Nu-Eclipse on Football knows what he's like : he's right you're wrong, you read the Sun, only Liverpool fans are allowed to talk about their Club (laughable when you don't watch them). It's not just football too, he know more than most when it comes to 'other' sports like Tennis; Still... at least that Arm-Chair, is having good use I suppose :P

Got to say that the whole "arm-chair" fan attitude is a bit silly. I don't like the way the term is used to prove that someone immediately does not have the right to talk about their team as much as the next.

I think a fan works on so many levels. Be it, word of mouth, buying merchandise, watching on TV, etc is cool. Yes there are people who attempt to talk and are winging it to be one of the boys, but c'mon, I'm sure Nu-Eclipse is'nt "plastic". Unless you do have smoothness for genitalia (like Ken doll)

Right lads, here's the situation. This thread gets reported left, right and centre because of the constant bickering, name calling and insults. If you can't get along with another poster I suggest adding them to your ignore list. We're quite clear on this forum that personal insults etc aren't the done thing, and it's going too far in here. If I have to come back in this thread again due to the same rubbish, then anyone involved will be getting a temp ban. Please keep it civil.

Hey ikobo I'm not doing any 'persona'l insults... it's quite clear who is and its nothing new ; Far too many here have a run ins with Eclipse on sporting matters and this board done nothing but turn a blind eye to his posts and insults, when it comes to sporting matters .

I strongly suggest that you ask around - his reputation for blatant trolling is FORUM-WIDE. Check his post history for proof of this. That's a fact. Like I said to Kieran76, HE started the trolling, not the other way around. It is what he does - that's the type of person he is.

Right, maybe i'm not making myself clear here. You've both replied and both had yet another dig at each other, it's all very schoolboy. So, one more comment from either of you and it's a week away from the board for you to get over it. I seriously urge neither of you to reply to either me or each other regarding this again and just stop the bickering. If need be, put your opposing poster on your ignore list. We're all adults here, act like it.

If there are problems on the board and someone steps out of line, report it. There's a moderation team here for a reason, but at the same time it's unreasonable to think that we spend the time reading and checking every thread to make sure everyone is staying within the rules. You're both long term members who (I think?) enjoy being here and posting. Please don't put myself or another mod in a position where a temporary ban needs to be handed out.

Read the threads and its quite clear who's doing the personal insults and I'm not the only one that's had to put up with the vile personal insults from him on sporting matters, be that football or even Tennis . Call me out for taking banter too far, but don't make out, I dish out personal insults ikobo, when its not true and its clear has day to anyone that reads the footballing threads.

I still think Leighton Baines isnt international class. Not good enough to lick Ashley Coles boots.

I dont think anyone in their right mind would argue Cole being worse. The problem is I don't see Baines making the step up once Cole retires, better crosser of the ball but not better passer and slower. His timing of runs and control isnt as good either. I cant stand cole but amazing to think how long he's maintained his standard.
