What a ****ing brilliant display...I've said it many many times before but those young lads really could teach the senior squad a few things...especially about penalties.

There's a hugely sour note for me though, how many times did that Dutch keeper come off this line to save? 4 by my count...oh and why exactly was the Dutch manager allowed to change a referee's decision?

The ref should've never allowed a guy to refuse to take a penalty kick in the first place. But this match itself was kind of bad, not the best display of both teams.

Yeah I understand, its a final between 2 teams you probably have no affiliation with. Almost no one here bought final tickets but tickets were sold out in 1 minute and 40 seconds right when it was clear that the Dutch would advance. I received a ticket from my sister in law, who was the lucky ticket draw winner at work and obviously hates football. Those people always win such things...

Babel isn't in that good shape imo, he's finishing leaves a lot do be desired. Drenthe does extremely well, but sucked this year at Feyenoord because he was forced to play left back there. Maduro, Vlaar and Zuiverloon are also playing strong this tourney.

But yeah the city's nice... its often called the Amsterdam of the north and its the only Dutch place were pubs are open 24/7. Lots of tourists like it, afaik.

yeah i don't really support any of the teams but i do want Holland to win.
i was going to give my ticket away but it says you need photo ID to get in so i couldn't give it to someone who would have used it shame really would have liked to have been spending the week over there
