Apparently Chelsea have whacked in a £73m bid for Kaka, and a £200,000 a week after tax salary.

It was ridiculous before, and now it's more so. Utter madness. I bet some of the other Chelsea players hope it's true, players like Lamps and Terry will have contracts stating they have to get at least equal pay.

I hope he stays at Milan. Not out of spite for any club in particular, but because I occasionally have this romantic notion that loyalty exists in the world of football.

On the other hand, I want to see what happens when he's getting kicked to buggery in the Premier League next year.

Not expecting much traffic either way at West Ham personally. As long as we get a decent striker and manage to maintain the fitness of our current squad I'm happy.

That's a rundown of who's staying and who's going with us at the moment anyway.

Horrified to see on that bbc gossip thing that Bruce wants to bring in Titarse Bramble for 5 big ones. Jesus, he's already playing the part of a filthy Mag scummer trying to ruin the club from within, by recruiting **** ex-Mags.

Steve Bruce is a Man United legend. He is always maintained that he was Newcastle fan during his tome with us though. It seems strange that he'd wanna manage Sunderland but maybe the money on offer (his own wages and transfer budget) swayed him.

            Anyways, back on topic.........

lol, talk about finger on the pulse of the transfer bandwagon

Its always interesting to see the different headlines tho as most all contradict each other with stories in the media elsewhere.

Chelsea buying Kaka turned out to be utter rubbish

Just another chance for them to bash Chelsea

Them? There must be some crazy conspiracy theories running about your head.

Liverpool seem to be quiet at the moment, no mentions of much going on really apart from a few strikers I havent seen much of.

Need new wingers really. Its only early on though, the break isn't even a week old yet.

                      Sky/Talk Sport

They had an hour long show saying how awful it was and how chelsea should be embarassed if they won anything like that then a single 'typical chelsea fan' phoned in to mirror their views.

Chelsea spent £50m more in wages in 2007/08 than any other club in the Premiership (i.e. Man U).

The window will be exciting and boring at the same time at the highest level.
Chelsea will go back to their highest spending ways to please Carlo - Man City may eclipse them. Real are gonna go big on the Galactico project again (which was fine until Becks went to be fair) and the whole merry-go-round will be like Groundhog Day. Again!
Man U will umm and ahh and then spend big; Arsenal wll refuse to buy a defensive player of note and Cesc + 1 will leave and cite the media lie of "wage structure"; Liverpool will buy a load of players and then, after about 2/3 months realise that none of them improved the first team; Sunderland will spunk - hard; Newcastle will offload their dross at cut prices; So will Boro but for better relative prices; Villa will spend significantly more than people realise; Everton won't.
                        ETC ETC....

alk sport sayinf Tevez will sign for Man City...can see it actually as City will be offering silly money for anyone and everyone..From Tevez,s point of view no european football what so ever so cant see anything else but the promise of first choice striker every week and a massive amount of money per week to play for ****ty City..gutted if true but like i said can see it happening.

Huh all you big boys are getting linked with mega stars.

Sunderland are getting linked with brown stars.

If Bruce recruits ****e like Bramble, Zigic, Davis and Jolly Up Cattermole, it'll be curtains.

So the Kaka deal is now official, be interesting to see how he fits in to the team in Madrid. Like the line that he's done it to help AC out financially

It could end up being okay for AC if they spend the money wisely. After Juve sold Zidane in 2001 they bought Nedved, Buffon and Thuram. They ended up winning the next two league titles after three years without winning it.

Not too much going on at Spurs at the moment. The most concrete transfer news seems to be Didier Zokora being on the verge of a move to Sevilla, but that'll hardly set the football world buzzing
