Klose, Poldi, Gomez, Kiessling, Cacau.. wtf? Every single one of these strikers, in decent form, kicks in some 15+ goals in a vastly underrated Bundesliga. Hell, 3 of them scored yesterday.
That Ozil guy I didn't even know, but he was brilliant. That Marin is a threat on the wing.
As far as Australia goes, I think they're being counted out. Too old, no rhythm. Serbia and Ghana seem to be more versatile, those 2 are also a more difficult horde for Germany.

Looking forward to watching the Italians, myself.
Well I commented on anyone moaning about the world cup being poor after the first 4-5 matches. Well moan away lads! It doesn't appear to be improving

I'm happy with this result. You see, if we display gallery play right off the bat, overconfidence will kill us anyway. You have to win bad games, and this was such a game. We played bad, but defense was very tight and a 2-0 is a good result against Denmark. I also think they were the hardest opponent in this group.
We'll stay in the underdog role for now, for that I'm happy. Let Germany have the spot lights and think they'll win it all.
With some minor changes, we can do far better. I hope that the coach takes either Sneijder or VdV off, and places Elia on the left. He's unknown to the public, but extremely talented. Robben can always be used when the time is right (ie. QF if we make that).
Didn't enjoy it.. but 3 points.

its not just us here, F365 mailbox is full of the same complaints lots of us have had here about tournament so far.
my memory recalls Germany 2006 started really well in terms of footy & goals then tailed off significantly from the last round of group games onward, lets hope this is the other way round as its been dire fare to date
only 2 games where both teams scored so far and they both ended draws, no scoring losers yet.

They were talking about the possibility of half empty stadiums in WSC the other month. The problem seems to have been that a lot of tickets were reserved for corporate hospitality packages for the big multi-nationals like Coke and McDonalds. But they've not taken them up due to the 'recession'.
