GAME have an interesting deal at the moment - swap ANY 4 current generation console games (PS2 etc) and 99p for ANY new release.

Bear in mind that GAME sell crappy PS2 games for ?2.99 and that GAME and Gamestation have a huge selection of used games at ?4.99 or less...

I got 3 brand new games today for just under ?42.00.

Because GAME rip people off all the time its good for swapping games! They give you ?20 if the game you are trading in is ?39.99 new and because they keep most of their games at that price for so long you can usually get a new game for 2-3 old ones.

Fight Night 2004 on Xbox from GAME for 99p. Oh it had to be done.

Bought a couple of pre-owned PS2 games from Video Games Plus. Dark Cloud (Greatest Hits version as it turned out) and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3. Cost a total for the two of just over ?18 including shipping. As a comparison I saw Dark Cloud pre-owned in GAME for ?29.97!!! The games arrived in superb condition with no felt tip pen marks (unlike GAME). Pity they don't have a wider selection of pre-owned stuff there.

Managed one of the ?19.99 plus postage Rallisport Challenge 2 games from the GAME Deal of the Day. I was one of the first. All the 50 that were up for grabs were gone in 12 minutes.

Yesterday was Far Cry for ?18.99 plus postage.

I was vaguely tempted, Ginza, but I bought Kururin on release day, and scalping them just to flog here at a profit seemed rather cheeky. I had planned on posting as soon as I got back home (Marcus is in Watford, isn't he?), but completely forgot.
