Went to WHSmith (Stafford) today, hoping to pick up a GBA SP for ?30, however they dont sell them for anything other than ?90. Was gutted. It must depend on what store you go to.

Did manage to pick up Wave Race: Blue Storm for ?4.99 though, which wasnt bad.

I phoned up WHSmith and they said that it was only the 'Bigger Stores' that were selling GBASPs... I don't know what that means exactly and they didn't give any examples, but I can't get one for ?30.

If someone knows where they can get one, could they pick one up for me? If you think you may be able to, give me a PM and we can sort something out

just been into my local sainsburys in enfield and they had ps2 at ?69.99 and xbox at ?69.99 asked the lady if it was the right price and she said yes and they where selling like hot cakes

I just visited my local WH smiths where a very helpfull member of staff told me that the shop staff and managers had bought all the cheap consoles before they had even been put on display. They are now being auctioned on ebay or in storage for christmas presents.....

If its any good to anyone, picked up ZOE 2 for ?9.99 at WH Smiths in Southend-On-Sea today. They had 3 copies there I think. I wanted to check it out for a while but there was no way I was paying ?30 which most places are still charging.

Yeah and they didn't tell any of the weekend staff, it was greedy weekday staff members when i come into work this morning a few of the week day people were in is well, and just by chance one of them said yeah i got a xbox for 50 a gamecube for 30 and ps2 for 45, i was like **** a ps2 for 45 (i already have the other two formats) he was yeah but dont get your hopes up every console now has been sold. Also all these rumoured cheap memory cards and games, like right now they have is ed for 9.99 some othe reduced games but they are brass. Anyways its worth you guys popping into a local whsmiths, since theres a brilliant combination in favor of the consumer gamers going on right now there. 1) they just did a countrywide audit so all the **** they is 'lost' or just aint been put out of the shop floor is going for silly prices and they are stopping the sale of computers games so they are shifting the rest at stupid prices.

I HEARD THAT THE SUTTON BRANCH HAS A FEW CONSOLES LEFT ANY PEOPLE ROUND THERE SHOULD POP IN! I'm gonna raid the stock room tomorrow and see if theres anything on my wanted list to buy dfuring my lunch break.

I've been looking for a Flash Linker for the GBA and I found this site here.

They are almost half the price of everywhere else I've seen and a bloke on the EFA forums has used them and said they are very good. ?50 aint bad at all though!

yeah the deals are not that great this time round However the last time the sale was on games were added later as the sale progressed.
