The reason its in bits is because its being upgraded and Windows reinstalled, so something shiny to play on it at the end of this would be cool.

Back to the Dixons argument

My local Dixons is closing, it's one of the 100 stores that is set to close. So they are selling all their stuff off cheaply already, im gonna wait a few weeks until the real bargins appear.

Currently you can pick up:

PS2 PoP pack for ?109 (I know they are going down in price anyway but)

XBox Solus for ?100

but i got the steel battalion: line of contact (with controller) from hmv for ?117 brand new

when i bought it i noticed the hmv credit card and asked about it and they offer 10 percent off any item purchased when you are accept for a hmv card

the balance is now paid and card in bits - sweet deal

Dunno if this has been mentioned, but Soul Cali 2 on the pal Xbox is now ?14.99 at Dixons. Also Turok on the xbox is now a fiver! Not that its worth that.

Bought the ltd edition Pokemon Ruby GBA SP box set for 50 quid at my local WH Smith today, don't know if any of the other WH Smith stores are doing this, the woman beind the counter told me it was so cheap becasue they were "trying to get rid of old stock".

Nowhere near the size of bargain of the above (though I've no need for an extra console anyway), but I got the lovely P.N.03 for ?14.99 from Gamestation on Saturday. They've got Super Monkey Ball for ?12.99, too, in case there is anyone foolish enough to be without that game.
