Can it be used in intervals.... a 5 second boost here, 4 seconds there... or is it like Eleanor in Gone in 60 seconds... a one go injection of pace that is active till run out? Sorry for the questions, I ma just afraid of this NOS upgrade making the races Burnout like with folk boosting all over the place!!

As long as you hold R1 it will inject Nitrous. Release the button and it will stop. It even stops for gear changes.

You can't tune the F1 car at all though in the Arcade settings you can increase power by up 20% and reduce weight by up to 10%. You can also adjust the top speed.

Yup, no C9 yet. I'm on the US version and have so far done Beginner, Pro, Japanese and a few Special Conditions - don't think cars won on those will stand up to it. The only other decent car I have is the Merc from the German Touring car championship (worth about 750k). I've won it alot to sell for money but kept one car. I've got about 6m credits so was thinking of splashing out on a Toyota GT-One if the Merc isn't up to it.

EDIT: OK so I just bought the GT-One and am working on the races I need to get the C9. Another B-Spec query... how do you handle pitstops? If I left my PS2 on all day while I was out, would my car pit itself, changing tyres etc without me having to intervene at all?

Can someone tell me how in the name of CHRISTING **** Driving Mission 11 is possible? I'm about 8 seconds off and I'm taking all the corners seemingly smoothly. How on earth is it doable?!

I have no idea about mission 11. I had one go, was 20 seconds off. Decided not to waste my life on that just yet. Bit like the Skyline slipstream battle.

Now, onto a more pressing topic. What on earth did they do to the PAL intro? DCA asked if it was any different so I left it playing. Seems unchanged until... whaaaaat?! Who ordered all the ****ey singy rock rubbish? It goes from one of the best intros ever to complete ass. Morons!!

Ahh don't say that I'm trying to find the money for one of these after all the good reports. In the past I've found wheels to be fairly redundant after a while but I think GT4 could be different. Soon I'll have a spare PS2 which could be set aside purely for GT4 with the wheel... hmm. Maybe it's time to take my spare PC to bits and eBay them off

GT4 jumps up 1000 levels when you play it using the Logitech wheel... I am so happy I kept mine all this time after got rid of GT3... so good to have it set-up again. The rally events with it is fantastic... really does bring so much more into the game, well worth the purchase!!

Would that wheel be decent enough? I don't want to splash out loads on the full on proper one but something like that would probably be better than analogue sticks.

And also, does it really need to be played on a flat surface, you can't sit it on your lap and get the proper experience from it can you?

                                EDIT: Thats for Xbox. Oops!

                                EDIT x 2: It's for PS2 aswell, I'm such a n00b.
